I am a mother of four girls and I have a wonderful husband. We live a typical busy life with sports and extra activities. With all that said I have forgotten to take care of the person who takes care of others, myself.

Prayers bring on miricals! I've shredded my 2008 calendar and I'm ready for 2009 to start on a clean slate! Going to the gym today. Great way to get a jump start on my health! Hope 2009 brings you happiness, health and success! -Patricia

Thanks for the support. I haven't been keeping up on this site too much lately with everything going on. Praise God we found out my hubby does NOT have cancer. However he does have an auto immune disease. The good news is that it's treatable and managable. Prayers do work! That's one thing I can now check off my stress list. The other is getting my health insurance straitened out for 2009. And Christmas is over. Things will slow down and regular schedules will replace the chaos of the holidays! I can't wait! I'm here for positive encouragement for myself and for others. I trust that you're doing more than you post. It's just hard to motivate, encourage or congratulate if I don't have any info. Keep a journal and then enter all the data on Saturday. That way you have it logged in and I get a more accurate update. Take care. -Patricia

Thanks for the pat on the back. After the week I've had, no -month I've had, I needed it. I know when I focus on my good health it helps me stay motiviated to stick to good eating habits and exercise routine. When I stray I feel yucky. I hope you can get back on track like I did. Got your update. How was the Turkey Trot? Not much on way of stats. Try if you can to keep that up. I find it keeps me honest to my weight loss comittment. I read your journal entry. Hope all is well with you. Not sure if you're religious or not but when I'm scared of change I find it helps to pray.
