So - Big winner - Any tips for a beginner? I'm working out 2 times a week (I shooting for 3) and trying to eat better....anything would be helpful.

Thanks, but I screwed it all up this past weekend with a Jager Bomb! Looks like I'll be waiting another week and a half to get back into ketosis, but I'm sticking to it. Congrats on your couple more pounds missing!

Had my first real trial last night when I went to a party. I think I handled myself pretty well, so it's nice to see that my resolve doesn't completely cave like it used to in the face of alcohol and baked goods...!

Happy (belated) Birthday!
I must say that I am just so motivated by your weight loss graph + journal entries. I've only been at this for a few weeks, but I know that on more than one occasion I have been on the way to talking myself out of a workout when I see your lolcats icon, reread a pumped up journal entry, and then can't wait to start sweating. Thanks for all the motivation - your record of weight loss over the past month is truly inspiring!!

Thanks for the suggestions, and thanks for the motivation! I'd be more than happy to motivate you too, though it hardly looks like you need it! You've lost more than me :)

I'm actually on Atkins right now, and lost a good amount at the beginning, but seem to have stalled... I'm going to give it until next week to see if I start losing again, but if I don't I'm going to have to double my efforts. I'm slacking in the working out department, so maybe that'll give me the boost I need to keep going!
