To not feel fat in my clothes!!!! I'd like to lose around 30lbs and actually keep it off! I found a pair of shorts that I can't fit into that I would like to be able to wear this summer!

How's it going, Christina? Are you still around? Hope your summer is off to a great start!

Hey Christina, I can't seem to figure out how to send you an email for the life of me. I'm fairly sure that I actually sent your profile to you in an email- LOL. Sorry about that. Anyway. I ended up paying misreading the deadline for your competition (Thought it said the end of May) and paid the $10 to join. I am not sure if you are okay with me joining at this late date. I know that you only have around 8 weeks left of your competition. I figured if I lose 2 lbs a week I'll make my 10%. I completely understand if you'd rather I didn't join as you guys have been going for a while. Just let me know and if it's a go, I'll need an email address for my contribution. Thanks so much, and apologizes again for not being able to figure out the email system here :)

Ya I also find that I'm more productive if I run alone..Although I liked having people there to push me for that last 10-15 seconds..I'm just gonna take it nice n slow not in any hurry..I find that the more gradual the weight loss the longer it stays off!! Been dieting for 3yrs lost like 40 lbs total and striving for 15 more then I will be right where I want to be, but in the last 3 yrs I have been able to KEEP IT OFF so I'm proud of my success. SO LETS KEEP "BRINGING SEXY BACK!" ;)

A lot of people really burn a lot more calories when they're stressed. Maybe that's how you were able to eat what you did and still lose. As for me, I may burn twice as many calories when I'm stressed, but since I'm eating three times as much, it doesn't really matter!

Are you going to start running?! People who start get totally addicted, so make sure you have a lot of time to devote to it!

I don't do any specific training, I just started out running as far as I could, then walking as fast as I could to make it 30 mins. I started out with 8 minutes of jogging at the end of march and now am up to 43 mins already. And I NEVER jog with anyone, I need to set my own pace, just me and my mp3 player. I put songs on there in a specific order: faster beat for the first two, slower for the next few, then faster again for last ones so when I'm starting out, it's quicker, then my pace gets set a little slower, then I keep truckin' during the quicker ones at the end of the jog, and the walk needs to be fast paced to keep my breathing heavy and my heart pounding. Do I make any sense to you? (Just smile and nod) And I always made sure I went a little bit further each time I run, one light post, or one driveway. If I could make it that far the other day, I knew I could do it again plus a little. I only run 3 times a week, I let my body recooperate a little in between. But on the days I'm not running, I do some kind of resistance training, (weights- but I'm only using my own body as weight right now) and a fast 40-60 minute walk. Hope that helps you a bit. And go for it, I'm still quite a big girl and If I can do it, you can too! Let me know how it turns out!

In the middle of test time AND you lose a pound?! You are officially my hero! Enjoy your successes, and stay sane...

And peanut butter may just need to be one of those things that exits my house, since I obviously can't be trusted with it ~ I'm a peanut butter slut!

Okay, if you set out to run a 5k, you need to do it! It is so invigorating to finish a run and I'm just starting. I hope to keep going and do a 13 mile half marathon NEXT summer. I go on mapmyrun.com to figure out where and how long I'm running, and it really helps to know the distance. If I can do it, you can do it way better! So get out there and RUN!
Have a great weekend!

Another pound and a half loss! Congratulations! Are things going well for you? I know you're getting irked with the slowness of it when you're doing everything right. I have the same issue, but I'm trying to remember that as long as the numbers are moving in the right direction I am doing a good thing. You are too!

AND you're number two in your sexyback contest! What great motivation!
