Looking for rules on how to run your biggest loser challenge with your coworkers/friends/family? The biggest loser challenge no longer just a TV show, it's a real movement and you can be a part of it. Here on weightlosswars we were founded 9 months before that show and with a new year perpetually right around the corner why not hit up your human resources department about starting a challenge in your office. Or maybe you ARE human resources and you're looking for some guidance. Here on weight loss wars, we've prepared everything so that you can get your competition up and running in minutes and easily manage it as it progresses.
Some Universal Biggest Loser Challenge Rules that you might want to consider are:
1. Weigh-ins on the same scale through the entire contest.
2. Go by the percent of weight loss. Don't worry, weightlosswars handles this all for you in the stats as easy as entering your weight and it calculates and stores it privately and securely.
A great biggest loser competition at work or with friends and family is not easy to manage by yourself without weightlosswars. You might be forced to use an excel spreadsheet go it alone! We've automated the whole system in a convenient easy to use website. You'll be able to create & name your biggest loser challenge, pick starting/ending dates, set rules, invite coworkers/friends/family, choose a prize pot amount (this can be set up to be sponsored by a company or to be built up through wager amounts from each of the competitors), choose public/private, choose team/individual, pay your $10 and it's on! Over 115,000 weight loss wars members have battled it out to lose over 1.25 million pounds!

Mix and Match some of the following "biggest loser rules" to make your best biggest loser competition |
Rule One - "HAVE FUN", Eat healthier (or just less), and exercise. |
Rule Two - Pick a weigh-in day or period of days. For example, successful weighins are coordinated to be able to happen on the same day each week. Or consider allowing your contestants to weigh-in any time between midnight Friday night and midnight Monday night. That way they don't have to do it when they feel "heavy!" Remember that with weightlosswars, you don't have to get their weigh-ins, they just log it in their profile! |
Rule Three - Consider requiring a wager of $10, $25, or $100 to make a prize pot at the end. Weight loss wars will track this amount so that people will see what the amount they'll win through the competition will be. You can also choose whether to prepay the $10 fee per participant for each employee or you can let them have more skin in the game by leaving their $10 competition fee up to them to pay |
Rule Four - Consider allowing competitors to join anytime within the first 3 weeks. They'll need to realize that they won't have had as much time to achieve as much weight loss as the others, but they'll also be able to catch up if they're dedicated to winning aka losing! |
Rule Five - If you are doing a prize pot, consider allowing the Biggest Loser to take 70% of the pot, and 2nd place to take 30%. Or consider giving 50% to the biggest loser winner and 50% to a local food bank or a secret Santa family, etc... you get the picture! |
