Main Goal

ORIGINAL GOAL: My first goal is to lose 20 pounds and get below 200 by my graduation and 30th birthday (in December). I also want to lose another 20 and be down to at least 180 by the time my husband and I go on our postponed honeymoon in March of '08.
So, since I joined, not only have I not lost, but I gained. I am hoping that not having homework to do anymore will free up some time to exercise. I am hovering around 230 (as of 12-31-07) so my NEW GOALS are these: I want to be down to 200 by spring break in March, wether I get to go to the Carribean or not. And I want to be at 180 by this time in '08!

About Me

I recently switched jobs and now work in the special education department at a local high school. I finished my college courses (FINALLY) and now only a 30-page paper stands between me and my Bachelors degree. I don't know if it will get me more money, but it is nice to have finally gotten there.
I am a newlywed, still counting the monthly anniversaries, but have a full house with three children of my own and a bonus kid every other weekend.

Hi how are you? I'm officially starting on Monday. I hope that things go better for both of us!!! One day at a time. My only problem is with my husbands work schedule it is really hard for me to get to the gym. I told him that I want a treadmill this year when we get our income taxes back. We have a bow flex in the basement but I NEED my cardio to get into it. Anyway have a great weekend. TTYL

I'm actually not a big fan of fruit myself, but I don't rule it out. Natural sugars from fruit and things are okay in moderation. It's more the processed sugars that are bad. An apple or banana are fine every now and then. Even a few grapes, if that's what does it for you!

Hey Linda(CakeLady),

You hang in there. I weight in today and lost 1 pound. I even worked my behind off this week. I know that it can discouraging but, we have to keep focused on the finish line of being smaller. We will keep each other motivated--new friend. :-)

Hi how are you? I'm trying to lose weight AGAIN!!!!! I saw your profile and you look like someone who can help motivate me. I'm tired of being on a yo yo. I got down to 154 and was doing so good and lost my motivation and gained everything back plus some. HELP!! LOL TTYL

You need to update this thing! How is everything going for you? If you start writing in the journal daily you will gain a better undertanding of it...trust me!
