About Me
I am a former competitive bodybuilder, who first began weight training in her early 40s from obesity. I lost 106 pounds and went on to do 6 competitions, with many 1st place wins. I experienced severe stress in the last 2 years and put on 70 pounds; I am ashamed, embarrassed and humiliated by my appearance and my health, because I know better than to let this have happened. At the same time, I made the choice and I new the consequences. Now, I choose to reverse the damage I have done, and keep it off once and for all.

Hi again...I was just wondering if you'd given any thought about extending that challenge of yours? If not, we'd love to have you come join us over in Mary's 'Fall ing pounds' challenge.
I'm still in 'slow' mode as far as weight loss goes. I know I can shift the pounds fast and reach goal AGAIN Lol, but learning to maintain is my number one priority this time around so slow and steady is the goal.
Hope to hear from ya soon...

Hi there, haven't seen you on the competition page, only a couple weeks left, hope things are going well.

Hi again. How are you? Your graph is looking great!
I’ve finally found the motivation to pick myself up and get with the program. I’ve been sick this past week with the flu though so I’m taking it slow for the next seven days...just easing myself back into the swing of things. I plan on taking up swimming starting next week which is going to be fun. I haven’t been swimming in years and the goal is to accomplish 100 laps in one session by the end of Summer. I’ve had this goal on my main page for about a year now so I figured it’s time to get a start on it.
It looks like you’ve been pretty quiet here lately...I hope all is well?

Hey. How are things going? Looks like you are really humming along! Way to go! What is your secret? I see that you are doing a cleanse. I have really been interested in them but never tried it. Which one are you doing? Where do you get it?
I have been at a stall and losing motivation. Need to get that spark going again. I seem to do really well with exercise just find myself eating more calories than I need. Have a fantastic day.

Hi Sherrie,
Thank you for all the messages. I'm doing great actually, even though the past few weeks were a little rough. I got in a car accident on Aug. 7th and thank goodness I wasn't hurt. However my neck, back and foot really started to hurt and I think after day two of pain I stopped the cleanse so that I could take some Motrin. I was feeling better after several days. I figured if it persisted I would seek more medical attention, but it eventually got better. Then I had family visiting and it made no sense to try to get back on while they were here. So I made a vow to myself that on 8/25 first day of school... I would get everything together.
I started the cleanse and I started swimming yesterday. I'm so sore all over, but it's a good sore. Day 2 is complete and I'm pumped. I get up and swim at 7 am. I did 21 laps in 70 mins. yesterday and did 36 laps in 104 mins. today. So all in all doing good at the moment.
How are you and Matty doing? Tell him I said thanks for the compliment. How are things going with your weight loss? I hope all is well.

Hi Sherrie! Welcome back! I got your challenge invite but I’ve been so stressed out over the last few weeks with my grandmother who had a stroke and family staying with me that I’ve completely fallen off track. The worst is over with my grandmother and she’s out of hospital which is such a blessing, but I’m just feeling so very tired. I checked out your challenge and I really don’t know if I can drag myself back up before it ends! Lol. What a shame that everything kinda happened around the same time...I would have jumped in that challenge of yours so fast not so long ago. Anyway...we’ll see what happens. I'm having a bit of a break from the site, but if I find my spark I’ll be there :)

Hi Sherrie,
You are welcome.... I learned the hard way myself the first time I did it last summer... and the youtube bideo is still up there... I got so scared because I thought I was dying, but it was my body reacting.
I wish we lived closer too, but we definitely have each other right here to motivate and encourage one another to reach our goals.

Hey Sher...WOW, you are back to where you were when you took the hiatus!! Good going girl.
I would love to joing another competition but it is very hard these days with the new baby (now 2 months) and I am still breastfeeding! I am slowly moving down on the scale by being in Mary's competition and it is tough to even get on there once in a while to post.I am going to have to say No for now :(
Sorry Sher... have a great competition!!
Sandy

Hey Girlie, how goze it? Hadn't talked to u in a while & I see ur still keeping up the good work. I've been off the wagon & just now starting back up. I have some motivation now. I'm usually pretty sad since my twins left home, but my daughter came back home in August and I'm also hosting an international exchange student (Ana/Brazil) and she is a jewel.I love her to death, she has also been here since August. Needless to say once u leave it's hard to come back & my daughter left again in anger, bc we butt heads. But on a good note Ana won't let me drop off into depression. Ana (15) has been in ballet since 3 and has been in the jr olympics and is very athletic & she has been forcing me to get out walking daily & yesterday she got me to the gym, so she is highly motivational, so maybe I'll get something accomplished while she is here.
