    The first option (and the most recommended) for weighing in is the following:

    Exit 820 and go east (inside the loop). It is after the 4th street on the left.

    Don’t forget that there is a $5 fee for the weigh-in and they have special scales that will give you a lot more useful information than just your weight. They will file our weights there for the record.

    A second option would be to weigh-in with at least two witnesses from our group at a neutral location.

    The last option would be to have your family doctor document your starting weight and have him or her sign it (with contact information like address and phone number) and mail it to me. If you do this, let me know and I will give you my mailing address.

    You must have proof of your starting weight, 6-month weight, and final weight, at a minimum.

    Since the competition is so long, we have decided to give away half of the money contributed when we reach the 6-month mark (February 6, 2009) and then give away the rest of the money next August 3, 2009. So, for now, the charts will reflect a 6-month period.

    You can use any diet or exercise you want. The only weight loss method not accepted in this competition is surgery. Other than surgery, lose weight any way you want.

    There is a $10 participation fee collected by this web site to join the competition.

    Once again, there will be an entry weigh-in, halfway point, and final weigh-in at one of the optional locations above. This way, there is no cheating for the money. Post your own weigh-ins in between the official weigh-ins, throughout the competition. Also, YOU post the results of your official weigh-ins.

    You have 30 days from your officially documented initial weigh-in to pay your $50 contribution. If you join after October, then you must pay your $50 within one week.

    1st place wins 50% of the total contributions

    2nd place wins 30% of the total contributions

    3rd place wins 20% of the total contributions

    Only the winners of the competition will be required to disclose their starting and ending weights as proof of their win. If you are not a winner, then your weigh-in results do not have to be verified.

    We will open an account with OmniAmerican Bank to hold the money on Monday, August 4th.

A NEGATIVE CALORIE FOOD LIST

To make a negative calorie food list, we must be precisely clear on what we mean. There has been some confusion about this phrase. Some have thought that this kind of food contains no calories at all. This can't be right as long as all kinds of food contains at least some energy.

Fruits

Apricot, mandarin orange, blackberry, melon canteloupe, blackcurrant, peaches, clementines, plums, damsons, raspberry, grapefruit. rhubarb, guava, strawberry, honeydew melon, tangerine, lemon, watermelon.
