About Me
I am a SAHM of 4 kids. I never seem to have time for me between meetings at school and helping the kids. I love to read and cook. I think I will start looking into healthier recipes so I can still enjoy cooking.

Well hi there Tammy!! Long time no see! I'm glad to see you've been back. I'm trying to get my butt in gear again too after a pretty gross gain! =\ This year has been trying for me but i'm starting to see the light at the end of all my "issues" so i figure its time to get this started again before its completely out of control.
I hope you are doing well. Have a good day.

Howdy! Just dropping in to see how you're doing! I've found I still enjoy cooking...FOR OTHER PEOPLE! I made Bonbons around Christmas and only ate a couple. I gained much more satisfaction from the people around me enjoying them!
Have a great day!

How did you go with those doughnuts? I know exactly what you’re going through too. My first week was great but this week it’s FULL of temptations. It’s like everyone has forgotten that I’m trying to change and hubby starts cooking up hamburgers and chips for dinner!! And cheesy sauces! So I’m having a bit of a bumpy week myself. Are you counting calories? I’m trying to keep track of them because I figure when stuff like that happens I need to have a benchmark. I need to know exactly what the damage is so I can get some extra exercise in, or lower my calories a little the next day...or leave some of that food on my plate! So far it’s working out well and I haven’t gone over my 1500 calorie limit by much at all, but my weight is definitely not stable.
I hope all went well...
~Sam

Hullo, lady! Way to be proactive and knock the weight out before it gets any worse. Most people - *ahem, ME* - get into that mode where they feel helpless when the weight comes back on, and spin into an even more outrageously self-pitying weight gain.
Make sure to share any delicious healthy recipes you find! (The easier, the better!)

You've been so quiet lately! How's things? You've done an amazing job on shifting the pounds over the last few weeks and I hope you’re still making attempts at moving forward with your goals. We're roughly the same in that we both have less than 25 pounds to drop before reaching our ultimate goals. We've both come so far, and the ultimate reward is soooo close...so keep it going Tammy! We can do this!!!

Hey i know exactly how you feel. At least we are getting back into the swing of things again... GO US!!
I have to apologize that i really just let that competition go that i started. The first of the year when i tried to really get back to weight loss i thought a competition would help get me back in the spirit of things. I WAS WRONG! It didnt help me at all.. i kinda feel like i have let them down. HOWEVER, if i remember correctly the competition that we all met in last summer was abandoned by the person that started it and i think we all still did pretty good. Pffft thats me making excuses again... i have guilt for letting it go. If i could drop out of it i would cuz i just dont think competitions are what i need right now. =\
You've lost like 7 pounds in the past month!! Great job!! I'm eager to see my graph start heading in that direction again.
Good to chat with you again tammy. Its like last summer all over again with all the "oldies" that are comin back around. =)
Have a great night... ~Christy~
