Thanks Robyn :) I love the Mickey ears! Sandy sent them to me...we don’t have a Disney Land here in Australia and I soooo wanted a pair of Mickey ears! Your doing really great this week and I bet your challenge is keeping you very busy too. I’d pop in more often but it looks like you’ve got enough going on atm!

Good luck with your weigh-in!

Hi Robyn!
I did the fit test on Sunday.
1 Mile= 10 minutes 12 seconds I pushed it!
Sit ups = I sat all the way up - only 37
18 Total I started with boys did 12 then did 6 more girly push ups until I gave up.
I really need to do more sit ups! It's a starting point!
I hope all is going good with you! I have been busy with work and all....

Thanks Robyn, I am not used to getting help on this or anything matter of fact. I am so used to doing everything on my own and then get overwhelmed and give up. I try to ask help more often. thanks for the encouragement. And I will try the plate thing. It sounds silly but in all sence it might actually work.
Thanks again,
Marika

Hey Gorgeous. Am having a bit of difficulty. Lost my ruby for yesterday. = ( When I input -1 it puts me at the end of the list at -1 instead of 364. Then I went back and changed Jan 1 # but if I keep having to do this it is going to be quite cumbersome to keep clicking back to Jan 1. What are others doing?

Hey Robyn...how are you? Still working hard at this, I bet. Well, my turn's a comin...I've got to throw my whole self into this...I'm not impressed with how far off the wagon I fell...and now it's GO TIME. Life is very emotional right now...stressful. But what better time to take the bull by the horns, eh. I'm going to have a gain tomorrow which ticks me off royally....I was doing so well, and then 2 days from hell! GAAH! Anyway, glad to be back on the ship...gotta get swabbin that deck. : )

I know about the soreness! My chest is so sore from doing my CHEST & TRICEPS for the first time in two weeks. Now, the same for BACK & BICEPS. Guess my shoulders will be sore tomorrow!

Robyn,
I was reading your journal yesterday and in one entry you mentioned that you work at a school. I think we have something in common. When my son went into 1st grade I started working as a playground superviser at his school, very part time morning and afternoons. I loved it. They promoted me with other job titles throughout the years; health aide, attendance aide, short term latchkey teacher aide, shoes that fit program aide, resource aide...I did that for 8 years. I loved it. The last 3 of the 8 years however, my aide status went down to just supervission aide because I was not bi-linguel...and I got other part time jobs around the school. I worked at a grocery store from 530am-1030amM-F, then went to the school from 11am-130pmM-F. My church hired me to be their regular Saturday custodian which took 3.5-5 hours. I had Sundays off. I was so blessed to get that schedual with 3 jobs and to be off work by 130 everyday and a little quiet time for myself when needed. IDK why I had to share that with you but I felt it was really important. I pray you have peace, contentment, your daily needs met and joy in you life. Keep on Swimmin, I'll swim with you!

Loved your 6 yr olds joke! Funny! My back is doing better and I am doing great with the exercise despite the pain. I don't know what I would do with out my elliptical and stupid VH1 shows. I am glad that Biggest Loser is starting... something worth watching! I am eating my veggies and drinking my water, but the scale is stubborn. I was up a pound on Monday and today from last Fri. but I think that will go back down. PMS..... I have been exercising like crazy and I think my body is just ready. I am building muscle, which is retaining a little water too..... All is going good, just the stupid scale! Grr! I see you are doing great! Keep it up! The Irish challenge has me a little busy and now that school is back in session I am busy! Great to hear from you!

Robyn,

I would love some easy vegetarian recipes. I'm not 100% there by any means but my heart is in it... it's the rest of the family who isn't. Let me know if you need my e-mail address if you have some you can share. Thank you!

Ended the day just right. Some days are just a big struggle and I'm not always aware of why. Then there are days where I do know why. Mostly there are days where I do well. I want more of those but took control today and did it. Also got in another workout after work so made my ruby too. = )

Posting on adventures in health is good because you can influence others and will check it regularly. I think you Biggest Loser people have some great insights. I post on people's profile pages all the time too so just do it how you want. DAC I thought this was daily affirmation. Accountability is soooo very important. I had a great crew of women I was checking in with but most have fallen and not gotten up yet and are not responding. I will keep checking in with them but need to make lots of friends to be successful. Great idea I may start keeping track of the 40/30/20 (protein, carb, fat) in the future too. What a great way to know. I used to do that a few (8) years back while on another diet program but haven't this time around.
