About Me

I'm a chef and comedic actress in L.A.
Since moving here 3 1/2 years ago, I have encountered a world of new flavors never tasted before, and with that a new challenge of extra weight never known before. I plan on working with food for a good long while, so I need to learn better exercise habits to make sure it doesn't kill me.
I use to be proud of my body, I will be again.

I found site that calculates nutritional info for home recipes called sparkrecipes. According to their counts, based on a batch making about 18 servings, each muffin has:

Calories 169.7
Total Fat 3.4 g
Saturated Fat 1.7 g
Polyunsaturated Fat 0.5 g
Monounsaturated Fat 0.9 g
Cholesterol 17.2 mg
Sodium 146.9 mg
Potassium 380.1 mg
Total Carbohydrate 32.9 g
Dietary Fiber 4.3 g
Sugars 12.0 g
Protein 5.4 g
Vitamin A 3.4 %
Vitamin B-12 3.1 %
Vitamin B-6 9.8 %
Vitamin C 0.9 %
Vitamin D 0.3 %
Vitamin E 1.4 %
Calcium 8.4 %
Copper 9.2 %
Folate 8.8 %
Iron 9.6 %
Magnesium 19.3 %

Niacin 8.0 %
Pantothenic Acid 5.6 %
Phosphorus 17.0 %
Riboflavin 8.8 %
Selenium 19.6 %
Thiamin 9.8 %
Zinc 9.6 %

Keep in mind, most of the sugar content is from the fruits, which is much healthier than processed sugars. Hopefully these can fit into your diet. The only guilt I've experienced with them is how good I feel the rest of the day. ;)
I'll put the nutrition info below for a bran muffin you can get at Dunkin Donuts so you can compare what you would normally get if you were to just order a bran muffin while running around. It's pretty representative of whats out there.

Hi there! Thanks for the add! I saw your awesome breakfast muffin recipe and had to find out more. :-) Do you know the calorie count or any of the nutritional info about these muffins. The recipe sounds delicious (and the picture looks equally as good!), so I am just curious if I can fit them into my diet regime without too much guilt. Thanks for any info you can provide and good luck with your continued weightloss goals!
