Main Goal
My main goal in being on weightlosswars is to help people lose weight through fun and healthy weight loss competitions, challenges, and programs. As I prepare to practice medicine and the name Pete Maughan MD becomes mine, I'll also be adding the facets of medicine to the health and wellness that I have been involved in over the years. It's been a great ride and I hope that my wife Jillian and I can continue to help people and improve lives through weight loss.
Which brings me to my final thoughts for now: Beside my wife Jillian, there is nothing more important to me in life than my relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, consider myself a Christian, and hope I can be a good one. Each day of my life is a test that I do my best to use as a way to progress closer to heaven as an eternal family with wife and family and my parents, siblings, and on through the family lines.
It's my goal that I'll be an influence for good in the world and that at the end of my life it can be said that I did love, care, and serve others.

About Me
I like running, working out, watching cool movies like I just enjoyed watching Limitless with Brad Cooper and I also like to read good books (I'm going to read the novel that Limitless was based on.) I'm getting ready to head into medical school as a career shift. I've been involved in several health and wellness and medical weight loss companies over the past several years, and have decided with my wife that we'll make the move directly into medicine.

Some of these companies have been huge successes while one of them was unsuccessful and led to a lot of heartache but that is the life of an entrepreneur. I have tried my best to always be the best person I can be and have many faults and mistakes that I can chalk up to my name. At the same time, I truly hope to be able chalk up to the name Peter Maughan a lot of good virtues, successes, and real value for the world throughout my life as well.
