Hi Rosa,
I'm still here, but seldom check the WeightLoss pages, other than my daughther's (Tamara Lowe) journal from time to time. There just has not been a whole lot of time for me to spend online in the past several months. Have been doing some traveling and have had out of town company quite a bit this past Winter. People from up your way sure do love coming to Florida in the Winter months! I don't blame them.
Sorry to learn of the loss of your mother. I know the pain of that, having lost mine over 20 years ago and still miss her terribly. Time is a great healer though, and I shall pray that you will gather strength from the Almighty to get through your great loss.
Thanks for checking on me! I'll try to do a better job of staying in touch.
All the best,
Irene

Rosa I am so sorry that you have lost your Mother. I lost mine 15 years and the pain never goes away. I still love and miss her so much. I will pray for your strength as you face your loss day to day. It is really hard to lost this weight at our age...dont you think?? I used to go without lunch for 2 days in a week and lose 5# ...No more. I have to work at every pound I lose. I am just taking it one day at a time. I had double knee replacment one in 2002 and the other one in 2004. Changed my life but I put on weight by not being able to be active. I am working out at the gym 3 days a week...2 miles every other day on treadmill and I used to not be able to walk around the grogery store.
Take care and thanks for keeping me motivated.
