About Me

I am new at this site but am very excited about it. I had surgery on March and I'm recovering from that. Within the last year, I have gained about 20 pounds and have only been able to lose about five. I really want to lose weight and decided to try this site!!! :)

Hi Shirley. I see that you lost 2 lbs so far. Just keep up the good work and let me know how things are going. My goal is to lose 2 lbs this week and that would put me at a 4 lb loss.

Hey! Things are going alright. I can't seem to get away from 136. I'm stuck! It's been over a week. I'm getting ready to move away from a very stressful situation, so I'm hoping that will help me out though. :) How are things going for you?? I need to keep in touch more. Whenever I saw I had a message I got all excited! Haha.

Hey Shirley! Nice to meet you. Yes, weight watchers really does work and it's a really easy program to follow as long as you are dedicated to losing weight. If you stick with it you can expect to lose between 1 and 2 lbs a week! And you get to enjoy all the foods you love, just in smaller qty's

If you've never tried it before I would recommend going to one meeting to see what it's all about. What I did was go to the one meeting, get the info I needed, bought the books and calculator and then just followed the program on my own (but for some people it really helps to have a support group/weekly meeting) But perhaps this site can be your support? You can also do their online program at www.weightwatchers.com
