Main Goal

I want to feel good again. I need to lose alot of weight, but more importantly, I want to get healthy. My 2007 goal is to be kickin' by New Years Eve. My band has played the same large event for 2 years now and we are scheduled again this year, and I want this year to be a "Coming Out" of sorts. My own version of Extreme Makeover, if you will. There are many of my professional peers there, so this is a good time to shine. I know I can do it. 36 weeks and counting. My first short term goal is August, when I will be celebrating my 10th wedding anniversary.
Currently starting Michael Thurmond's (fitness guru from EXTREME MAKEOVER) 6 week make-over. It is a PERSONALIZED program for both diet and fitness. Previous Diets

Just started Michael Thurmond's 6 week makeover plan. A Personalized (and it really is) Diet and Fitness program. Eating 3 meals and 3 snacks a day. Choosing only from those foods that my body type "A" is allowed to eat from. Looks very solid and healthy.

Favorite Workouts

I am working out with the BANDS. The 6 week make-over is a custom program that figures out what body type you are all the way down to picking out your exact frame, TOP, MIDDLE and BOTTOM. It then gives you the correct exercises for that body type. If it works like it says it does, it will be amazing. So here goes.....

About Me

I am 42 years old and a professional entertainer/singer. I also own a large entertainment/event production company. My job is stressful and very time consuming, and somewhere over the last 8 years, while building the company, I LOST myself. I have the most amazing husband of 10 years, who loves me no matter what. And with all of the fad diets I tried, his advice was Diet and Exercise and for the first time, I am listening to him and trying it. No more pills, no more diets.
