About Me
A Canadian wanna-be. I immigrated from the states, with my son, to live full time with my Canadian work-a-holic hubby.
Sadly my son has moved back to the States in the summer to live with my brothers family.
My weight has sky rocketed and now I am seriously over weight and in need of a total body makeover.

You haven't posted weight since last June do you come on site much or have you found someplace else to keep you motivated. I would like to be part of your support system.

When I step on the scale tomorrow I don't think I'll see any more than the initial pound I lost after the first couple of days. I've been losing the battle of not eating after I get off work late in the evening. Hope you do much better!

Hey Girl, I just got out of my first belly dancing class. It was great. It focuses on the core muscles and really get's you tuned/grounded into your body.
Right now I'm doing weekly lunch yoga, bellydancing classes at work and trying to get a swim workout in the evenings while it's hot. Exercise is not natural for me, so baby steps are working for me. I hope to start doing more workouts as my body become stronger. If I go to fast too quick I burn out and get sick.
Keep taking baby steps.....

oh the motivation went so far out the window it isn't even funny. Family visits plus step sons home for the summer not a good combination. Lots of fried, greasy mess. I think my thighs look about the same as what I've been eating. Not good, not good. I'm going to work it out tonight as punishment for the horrible week I've had.

Haven't been kicking butt on the step bench like I'd prefer, but am still keeping it up. I think this first weigh in is gonna see very little change. *shrugs*

I have not really been exercising much unless waiting tables counts. I'm not looking forward to Wednesday's weigh-ins! Hopefully the rain in our area is gone now and I can get outside to ride bike and walk! Keep up with the step bench. That sounds tiring!

Hey there! Step bench is going pretty good so far. Although I gave it a try with a couple 3# weights in my hands and twisted wrong. *doh* Neck/shoulder area hurt for about a day.. a bunch better today so I am still at it.. but more carefully. *grins*

Been a long time. Hopefully I'm back at it and will start seeing some positive results soon.
